7 hr car ride from Sturgis to Lander with 3 kids, 2 dogs and 10 days worth of stuff.

Lily helping Papa in the shop- August.

Greg turned 30 in July.

Our first nephew Liam was born in May.

Cael & Graden turned 4 in May-- Batman party!

I have completely neglected to keep up on our family blog! Sorry to those who were following us. But I am back and I will try to be better :)

As of yesterday I feel like we are officially saying good-bye to summer and hello to fall. Yesterday it was 45 degrees and rainy & this morning I had to turn on the furnace! Brrrrrr!

I feel like summer was just the right amount of time (usually I feel like it goes by too fast) but this year we were so busy and did so much in the 4 months that I am ready to have more down time, earlier bed times and more at home family time. Our summer was full of trips- Cody, Lander, Gillette, camping trips, day trips with friends, family visiting, caves, Old McDonald's farm, water park and lots of play time with friends.

The boys started their second year or pre-school last week. They are so excited about being back and would love to go every day, but for now it M-W-F 9:15-11:15 a.m. The boys are looking forward to their leader days when they get to be the leader for everything that day- calendar, line, get to bring snacks and show-n-tell.

Graden & Cael are also playing soccer every Saturday until Oct. 15th. The first half of their first soccer game they didn't quit get what they were suppose to do so they followed the coach around. After a little pep talk from Mom they realized that they needed to stay with the ball and try to kick it in the goal. By their second game they had if figured out and were in the game the whole time and they both made a goal!!! They are quit the competitors now & they are really enjoying it.

Lily is inching closer to being 2 years old. She has brought so much joy to our family and is making us laugh on a regular basic. Lily is our little monkey climbing everything, making monkey sounds and her favorite P.J.'s have monkeys on them. She is at the age where she is taking everything in and seems to add at least two new words to her vocabulary every day.

Since it's fall that means it Football season at our house-- fantasy football being the biggest time consumer for Greg. He's active in 3 different Fantasy Football leagues and last week he won all three. Greg also is getting geared up for this season of deer hunting. He finally found someone local to go with and they plan on a lot of hunting this season. Maybe we will actually have something in our freezer this year.

I have been staying busy with work, kids, fun get together with friends and spending time with my sister! Yay Audie finally moved close enough for us to see each other on a regally basic-- she in Denver now. I am planning on going to Denver with the kids in October. Audie, her boyfriend Jake, his friend and myself are register to run a 5K called the Devil Dash. It's based off of the 7 deadly sins, with mud holes, rivers, climbing nets, blood bath and food! I know it's going to be hard but I am really excited to do it with Audie and say that we accomplished it!

Busy May

May was a busy month at the Glodt house...

Our beautiful baby Lily is growing so fast. At her last doctor check up she was 14 lbs 9 ounces which put her in the 75% for height & weight!
She is rolling over and scooting on her back. So if you lay her on the floor she wont stay in that spot for long.
She is eating baby food a few times a day now & loving it!

Graden & Cael turned 3 years old on May 19. They had a Toy Story/ Tractor themed party at the park. All of their friends joined them for food, cupcakes, tattoos & play at the park. It was a fun day & the boys loved all the birthday attention!

For Mother's day weekend my parents came to visit. Unfortunately the boys were sick & throwing up while they were here! We still had a good time. Planted trees, visited & attempted to go to Dinosaur park. Greg & I ended up carrying the boys the whole time & Cael threw up in the car on the way there (oh, the joys of kids!).

Lily was baptised on May 2. It was at the Methodist Church (where I work), her Grandma Dee Ann & Grandpa Gary were there, her Godparents are Ashley & Dan Alsup and Lily was able to wear a 135 year old dress that her Great- Great- Great Grandma Mertilla Powell made (very special).

March update...

A week ago we noticed Lily's ear was sticking out, at first we just thought that was the way her ear was going to be. But then we notice there was swelling behind her ear making it stick out. So we ended up taking her to the ER. The doctor there had never seen anything like it, so he sent us to the Rapid City ER... same thing there. The doctor had never seen anything like it... to make a long story short, we saw 4 doctors & a specialist and no one knew what it was. So they put her on antibiotics and the did the trick. The swelling is 100 % down now & she is much happier!!! Thank God!
Graden & Cael are doing great. Last night I took them with some other friends to Chuck e cheese & they had a Blast! I got them signed up for Preschool in the fall. I think it will be really good for them to be in a structured environment for learning & interacting with other kids.
Greg is doing really good. Work is keeping him busy & the kiddoes are keeping him busy :) When I'm at work he's home with all three. We don't get that much time together but it makes me happy to know that we are the ones raising our kids & we don't have to have them in daycare all day, all week! Greg just got his membership for the golf course so he's itching to go out. Lets hope the weather has made a turn for the warmer & stays that way.
We are planning on going to Upton for Easter this year. The boys are going to have so much fun hunting for eggs. Easter is some of my best memories from my child hood, so I'm hoping we can make some great ones for the kids!
Happy Easter To Everyone!!!
Lots of love ~ Jessie, Greg, Graden, Cael, Lily, Tahvi & Titan... yup I think that's it:)

Lily 2 months old

Today is Lily's 2 month check up & shots. She has been doing so good. She sleeps most of the night, usually wakes up about 6 a.m. eats and then goes back to sleep for another 2 hours, unless her wild brothers wake her up. That's the first thing they check on when they wake up... to see if sister is up yet. They are doing great with her. They love to have her lay with them when we read stories at bed time & when they are watching cartoons they like her to sit on their lap. She is well loved in the Glodt house & will always have someone looking after her.

Lily Claire is here!

We would like to announce Lily Claire Glodt was born Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 8:32 p.m. in Rapid City, South Dakota.

The labor & birth was a great experience. Greg, Doctor Fredrickson & 3 nurses were the only ones in the room. After she was born they gave her right to me & she stayed there for about 20 minutes before a nurse came in to assess her. She was doing so good that they didn't even take her back to the nursery for an hour to clean her off. Grandma Dee Ann & Grandpa Gary were able to meet Lily right away.

We have been home for 2 1/2 days now & we are all doing great. Lily is so easy right now & just fits right into our family! The boys are doing really good with her & want to help out with everything.

Greg & I are so blessed to have a healthy & happy family! Life is good!

Christmas blizzard

Dad's helpers.

Our car is in the big drift. We were stuck in our house for two days before the plows made it to our house. Thank God I didn't go into labor!
