Busy May

May was a busy month at the Glodt house...

Our beautiful baby Lily is growing so fast. At her last doctor check up she was 14 lbs 9 ounces which put her in the 75% for height & weight!
She is rolling over and scooting on her back. So if you lay her on the floor she wont stay in that spot for long.
She is eating baby food a few times a day now & loving it!

Graden & Cael turned 3 years old on May 19. They had a Toy Story/ Tractor themed party at the park. All of their friends joined them for food, cupcakes, tattoos & play at the park. It was a fun day & the boys loved all the birthday attention!

For Mother's day weekend my parents came to visit. Unfortunately the boys were sick & throwing up while they were here! We still had a good time. Planted trees, visited & attempted to go to Dinosaur park. Greg & I ended up carrying the boys the whole time & Cael threw up in the car on the way there (oh, the joys of kids!).

Lily was baptised on May 2. It was at the Methodist Church (where I work), her Grandma Dee Ann & Grandpa Gary were there, her Godparents are Ashley & Dan Alsup and Lily was able to wear a 135 year old dress that her Great- Great- Great Grandma Mertilla Powell made (very special).

March update...

A week ago we noticed Lily's ear was sticking out, at first we just thought that was the way her ear was going to be. But then we notice there was swelling behind her ear making it stick out. So we ended up taking her to the ER. The doctor there had never seen anything like it, so he sent us to the Rapid City ER... same thing there. The doctor had never seen anything like it... to make a long story short, we saw 4 doctors & a specialist and no one knew what it was. So they put her on antibiotics and the did the trick. The swelling is 100 % down now & she is much happier!!! Thank God!
Graden & Cael are doing great. Last night I took them with some other friends to Chuck e cheese & they had a Blast! I got them signed up for Preschool in the fall. I think it will be really good for them to be in a structured environment for learning & interacting with other kids.
Greg is doing really good. Work is keeping him busy & the kiddoes are keeping him busy :) When I'm at work he's home with all three. We don't get that much time together but it makes me happy to know that we are the ones raising our kids & we don't have to have them in daycare all day, all week! Greg just got his membership for the golf course so he's itching to go out. Lets hope the weather has made a turn for the warmer & stays that way.
We are planning on going to Upton for Easter this year. The boys are going to have so much fun hunting for eggs. Easter is some of my best memories from my child hood, so I'm hoping we can make some great ones for the kids!
Happy Easter To Everyone!!!
Lots of love ~ Jessie, Greg, Graden, Cael, Lily, Tahvi & Titan... yup I think that's it:)

Lily 2 months old

Today is Lily's 2 month check up & shots. She has been doing so good. She sleeps most of the night, usually wakes up about 6 a.m. eats and then goes back to sleep for another 2 hours, unless her wild brothers wake her up. That's the first thing they check on when they wake up... to see if sister is up yet. They are doing great with her. They love to have her lay with them when we read stories at bed time & when they are watching cartoons they like her to sit on their lap. She is well loved in the Glodt house & will always have someone looking after her.

Lily Claire is here!

We would like to announce Lily Claire Glodt was born Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 8:32 p.m. in Rapid City, South Dakota.

The labor & birth was a great experience. Greg, Doctor Fredrickson & 3 nurses were the only ones in the room. After she was born they gave her right to me & she stayed there for about 20 minutes before a nurse came in to assess her. She was doing so good that they didn't even take her back to the nursery for an hour to clean her off. Grandma Dee Ann & Grandpa Gary were able to meet Lily right away.

We have been home for 2 1/2 days now & we are all doing great. Lily is so easy right now & just fits right into our family! The boys are doing really good with her & want to help out with everything.

Greg & I are so blessed to have a healthy & happy family! Life is good!
